Connect 2 Grow offers high-quality, person-centred support through a unique lens of lived experience. Founder and Director, Stacey, lives with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and vision impairment and is also a proud parent of four neurodivergent children. Her personal journey navigating multiple NDIS plans highlighted a key gap in the system — the lack of tools to help participants truly understand and manage their own funding.
The Experience
Through this experience, Stacey realised how empowering it was to access and understand her own NDIS plan independently, without constantly relying on providers for funding updates. This insight inspired the creation of a user-friendly portal designed to give participants clarity, confidence, and control.
The portal empowers NDIS participants to take control of their plans by:
- Budget Forecasting: Input plan details to view, track, and forecast remaining funds — enabling more informed decision-making and autonomy.
- Live Date Tracking & Alerts: Receive reminders to collect and submit reports to the NDIS ahead of plan reassessments.
- Pocket Price Guide: Quickly access current NDIS hourly rates for supports and services.
- Helpful Templates: Use pre-written email templates to connect with services, request reports, and advocate for yourself — whether independently or with the help of a Support Coordinator or Key Worker.
Supporting Independence Through Informed Collaboration
This tool works best when information is entered accurately, ideally in collaboration with a Support Coordinator or Key Worker. Stacey’s vision is to empower participants with the confidence and tools to understand, manage, and take ownership of their plans — building independence and self-advocacy every step of the way.
